Welcome to Alessandrosimoni, founded more than 30 years ago by a petrol pump attendant who decided to work in the fashion industry ... and had a great success! His grandson, Simone, took over the company, that sells high-profile cashmere with its own brand, and produces for other luxuary brands.
Irene of A Fashion Sinner, Cecilia and Laura of Purse and I, and I visited the premises to see more closely all the stages of the creation of an item made in Italy. But before telling more, I show you some of their clothes to let you see how desirable they are.

Suo nipote Simone ha ripreso l'impresa che propone capi di cashmere e fibre preziose di alto profilo con la propria marca, e lavora anche per delle altre maison.

The problem when you try such a cashmere, is that it's hard to go back to the normal things.Avevo già notato questa mantella prima della visita, e la volevo assolutamente provare! Il problema quando si prova un tale cashmere, è che è dura tornare a delle cose normali.

A Fashion SinnerHere new models are created, but also custom-made clothing: they take your measures and hop! Your dummy appears on the screen. Then simply choose the cut, fabric, color and details, and look at the clothes worn by your dummy-double.
Qui vengono concepiti i nuovi modelli, ma si creano anche vestiti su misura: prendono le vostre misure e hop! Un manichino uguale a voi appare sullo schermo. Basta poi scegliere il taglio, il tessuto, il colore ed i dettagli e vedere i vestiti indossati dal vostro manichino-doppio.

A Fashion SinnerThe tailors know the different steps of the making of, so they don't always do the same work. Alessandrosimoni has about 20 employees, some of which are working here from 30 or 40 years. Cashmere comes from Mongolia, but it is entirely worked here for a 100% made in Italy result.Last but not least, from a few years the company tries to be as green as possible: solar panels to provide electricity, steam irons recovering heat for the water of washing-machines (I didn't know it was possible), waste fabrics resold to other companies that recycle them. The clothes dyeing is organic, made from plants: for example, I tried a gray blouse colored with field flowers (oh how romantic it is!) Not bad, isn't it?Le sarte conoscono tutte il lavoro dalla A a Z o quasi, e quindi non svolgono in continuo lo stesso lavoro.
Alessandrosimoni conta circa 20 impiegati, di cui certi lavorano qui da 30 o 40 anni. Il cashmere arriva dalla Mongolia, ma viene interamente lavorato qui, per un risultato 100% made in Italy.
Last but not least, da qualche anno l'impresa tenta di essere il più vicina possibile all'impatto 0: pannelli solari per fornire l'elettricità, vapore dei ferri da stiro recuperato per scaldare l'acqua delle lavatrici (non immaginavo nemmeno che fosse possibile), scarti di tessuti rivenduti ad altre imprese che li riciclano. La tintura dei vestiti è biologica, fatta con delle piante: per esempio ho provato una blouse grigia tinta con dei fiori del campo (oh quanto è romantico!) Niente male, no?

I always enjoy Zuckerfrei's atmosphere, Vi and Esse's blog. Every time I read it, it gives me the impression to spend an afternoon with them for a walk and take pictures chatting. And just recently (well. .. when you could still go around in short sleeves!), I spent a few hours with them to photograph Vi, the new model of my Etsy shop. Isn’t she wonderful?
